Common questions

Questions before you buy

What is the difference between a battery-powered and cordless weed eater?

In product listings the terms usually describe the same battery-operated tool without a power cord. Check the battery platform and whether a battery is included, since those details determine compatibility and whether the kit is ready to use.

Is the DEWALT DCST925M1 sold with a battery and charger?

Yes. DEWALT Canada's listing includes a 4.0Ah battery and charger with the DCST925M1 kit. Confirm the suffix: tool-only DCST925B is a separate configuration.

Which battery-powered trimmer supports attachments?

WORX WG186 and RYOBI RY40ST01B are described as attachment-capable. Compatibility is model-specific, so check the manufacturer's approved attachment list before purchase.

How wide should a battery weed eater cut?

A wider swath can cover open edges faster, while a smaller head can be easier to guide around tight borders. Compare the width with your yard layout and check if the model lets you adjust it.
