Common questions

Questions before you buy

What bands does the Escort Redline 360c detect?

Escort’s product documentation lists X band at 10.525 GHz, K band at 24.100 GHz, Ka band from 33.4 to 36.0 GHz, and laser detection. Detection capability does not guarantee an alert for every enforcement method.

Does the Redline 360c detect from the rear?

Escort describes dual front antennas and one rear antenna. Its specification sheet lists K, Ka and laser detection at the front and rear, while X band is front-only.

Can I use a Redline 360c in every Canadian province?

No. It is legal only in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan for non-commercial vehicles; Saskatchewan also restricts radar warning devices in commercial vehicles. It is prohibited in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, the territories and other provinces.

How does the Redline 360c compare with the Uniden R8?

Both manufacturers describe directional or multiple-antenna detection features, but their published specifications and alert systems differ. Compare the exact regional model, its official manual and the rules where you drive.
