Dashcam Stickers: Notices, Mounting Pads and Labels

“Dashcam sticker” can mean a recording notice, replacement adhesive pad or cable clip. Identify the purpose first; they are not interchangeable.

A dashcam sticker may warn occupants that video is being recorded, replace the adhesive between a mount and the windscreen, or hold a cable against trim. Buying the wrong kind can leave you with weak adhesion or a notice that does not fit your privacy obligations.

Common questions

Questions before you buy

Do I need a sticker saying a dashcam is recording?

Requirements depend on where, why and whom you record. A visible notice can improve transparency, but it does not replace consent or compliance obligations.

Can I reuse a dash cam mounting sticker?

Adhesive pads are generally intended for one installation. Use the manufacturer's replacement pad or a specified equivalent after cleaning the glass and bracket.

Where should a dashcam recording notice go?

Place it where affected occupants can read it without blocking the driver's view. Fleet policies may require additional notices outside or inside the vehicle.

Will any adhesive pad hold a dash cam?

No. Shape, thickness, temperature tolerance and bonding surface matter. An incorrect pad can let the camera shift or fall.
