TELUS Wi-Fi Booster Free: What You Can Get and How It Works

It depends on the TELUS service, promotion, and account. Check the equipment and eligibility terms for your plan or ask TELUS before assuming a booster is included at no additional charge.

A phone app cannot increase the radio range of your router by software alone. Network tools may help you inspect signal or manage equipment, but extending coverage requires correctly placed network hardware.

The app can help set up or manage compatible TELUS Boost equipment. The booster hardware provides the additional coverage; installing the app by itself does not extend the network.

A standard Wi-Fi extender can often connect to a router, but compatibility and setup depend on the router and extender models. Confirm band and security support, then follow both manufacturers’ instructions.
