ThermoWorks ChefAlarm Cooking Alarm Thermometer and Timer

The ChefAlarm is a single-channel leave-in probe thermometer with high and low alarms, a count-up or countdown timer, and an external display. It suits oven, smoker, candy, and other continuous-monitoring tasks when paired with the correct ThermoWorks probe.

The ChefAlarm cooking alarm thermometer and timer is built for one continuously monitored probe rather than phone-based or multi-channel cooking. ThermoWorks lists high and low alarms, minimum and maximum display, a backlight, calibration trim, and a timer in the original cooking thermometer timer format.

Common questions

Questions before you buy

Can ChefAlarm stay in the oven?

The compatible probe and heat-rated cable can remain with the food when used within their limits. The ChefAlarm display stays outside the oven.

Does ChefAlarm connect to a phone?

No. ChefAlarm is a self-contained single-channel display and alarm; ThermoWorks offers other models for Bluetooth or Wi-Fi monitoring.

What is the low alarm used for?

It can warn when a monitored temperature falls below a chosen point, which is useful for pit-temperature or holding applications as allowed by the probe and process.

Can ChefAlarm be calibrated?

The manufacturer lists calibration trim. Follow the operating instructions and use a suitable reference check rather than changing the offset casually.
