The Cube is a compact fan-style cooler; the official Blaupunkt ACF601 is a separate, larger evaporative model. Check the exact product identity before comparing.
Quick answer
For a compact cube-style unit, first confirm which Cube listing you mean: the UK product listing and Blaupunkt's ACF601 are not the same model. The ACF601 is a documented evaporative alternative with a remote and four fan speeds; larger Devola models suit different space requirements. Choose by verified specification and room conditions.
Best for buyers seeking a documented Blaupunkt evaporative model
Drawback: The manufacturer notes that evaporative operation raises humidity; the ACF601 is not the Cube product listing.

Best for a larger tank than compact room units

Best for a higher-capacity Devola format
Drawback: This floor-standing format is aimed at substantially larger spaces than a desk cooler.

Best for buyers comparing high airflow and manual or continuous filling
Drawback: Its size and operating noise make the manufacturer's room and placement guidance important.

Common questions
No evidence on Blaupunkt's current product page equates the Cube with ACF601. Treat them as separate product identities and check the model label.
Blaupunkt lists four fan speeds, oscillation on two planes, a timer and remote control for the ACF601.
No. Evaporative coolers use water and add moisture; portable air conditioners use refrigeration and typically exhaust heat through a hose.
The Devola DVKL2-01 listing specifies a 70-litre tank. Capacity alone does not establish runtime or room performance.

A portable air cooler is not automatically an air conditioner. Check whether the appliance evaporates water, simply moves air or uses a refrigeration system.
A portable air cooler unit must be practical to live with. Measure its position, plan water access and read the cleaning routine before focusing on extra modes.
The best portable air cooler is one that suits the room's humidity and ventilation. Compare these real evaporative models only after confirming that this cooling method meets your needs.
A portable air cooler can mean an evaporative unit, a fan or a portable air conditioner in shopping results. Identify the cooling method before choosing a model.
