Dash Cam Sticky Pads and Replacement Mounting Pads

Use a pad cut for the exact mount and intended for automotive glass. Preparation and full contact matter more than simply choosing the strongest-looking adhesive.

Dash cam sticky pads replace the adhesive layer between a windscreen and a compatible camera mount. The right pad matches the mount footprint without covering a release mechanism, vent or camera adjustment. Generic sticky pads for dash cam mounts may fit, but a maker-supplied replacement reduces guesswork.

Common questions

Questions before you buy

Can you replace a dash cam adhesive pad?

Yes, if the mount allows it. Remove the old adhesive fully and use a replacement shaped and rated for the mount and automotive glass.

Why does my dash cam sticky pad keep falling off?

Residue, moisture, a curved contact area, low application temperature or loading the pad too soon can weaken the bond. A pad that does not cover the whole mount can also fail.

Can I reuse a dash cam mounting pad?

Most pressure-sensitive adhesive pads are intended for one application. Moving the mount usually calls for a fresh pad.

How do I remove a dash cam pad from the windscreen?

Follow the mount and adhesive instructions, work slowly and clean remaining residue with a glass-safe method. Do not use a tool that could scratch the glass or damage nearby trim.
