Inspect the product label, packaging and purchase record. The brand name alone is insufficient because button layouts and dual-camera kits differ.

Check that the card type and capacity match the manual, format it in the camera and make sure loop recording is enabled. Replace a worn or faulty card if errors continue.

Use the reset procedure for the exact model; this may involve a recessed button or menu command. Save any needed clips first because settings can be cleared.

Power down safely, inspect the rear-camera plugs and verify that the supplied rear unit belongs to your main camera. Reversing-display wiring is separate from ordinary rear recording on some kits.
